On the north – south nation trainway, Hai Van Pass is an impressive landscape. It is like a giant dragon, lying on the border between Thua Thien-Hue Province and Danang City.

Hai Van Pass is 21km long and its peak is 496m above the sea level.

Imposing scenery of forest, mountain and sea captures the attention of rail passengers.

The train runs through Kim Lien, Hai Van Nam stations in Danang, Hai Van station in the middle of the pass and Hai Van Bac and Lang Co station in Thua Thien-Hue province.
